Terms of Service

§ 1. General Provisions

  1. These Terms of Service govern the use of the online platform AgeWell Habits, operated by AgeWell Habits Inc. The platform provides educational content, community features, and resources related to personal development for mature adults.
  2. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service. This agreement applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
  3. The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Service. All information provided is for educational purposes only and not medical advice.
  4. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the updated terms on this site. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

§ 2. Definitions

  • Platform – The online platform available at agewellhabits.com, owned and operated by AgeWell Habits Inc.
  • User – Any natural person who creates an Account and uses the Services provided by the Platform for purposes not directly related to their business or professional activity.
  • Account – A personal profile created by a User upon registration, which is necessary to access the full range of Services.
  • Services – All features provided by the Platform, including access to articles, guides, community forums, and other digital content upon successful subscription.
  • Regulations – This document, specifying the terms and conditions of using the Platform and its Services.

§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided

  1. The Platform provides paid access to a comprehensive library of digital content focused on habit formation, emotional stability, and home organization. Services are delivered electronically via a subscription model. Access requires an active, paid membership and a stable internet connection.
  2. Users with an active subscription gain access to all content available on the Platform, including but not limited to articles, workshops, and community forums. The scope of content may be updated, changed, or removed at our discretion.
  3. The Service does not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. Users should consult with a qualified professional for any health concerns. The Platform is an educational resource and is not a substitute for professional care.
  4. We grant the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only, for the duration of their active subscription.

§ 4. Technical Requirements

  1. To use the Platform, the User must have a device with internet access and a modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled. We are not responsible for any equipment or internet access fees.
  2. The User is responsible for ensuring their device meets the minimum technical requirements. The quality of the content may vary depending on the device and internet connection.
  3. We do not guarantee that the Service will be compatible with all hardware and software which the User may use.

§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User

  1. The User is obligated to provide true, accurate, and current information during the registration process and to keep this information updated. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account password.
  2. The User agrees not to share, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Platform without prior written consent. The account is for personal use only and may not be shared with others.
  3. The User agrees to use the Platform in accordance with applicable law and these Regulations. The User is prohibited from posting any unlawful, offensive, or harmful content in the community forums or any other area of the Platform. Violation may result in account termination.
  4. The User is responsible for all activities that occur under their account. They must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.
  5. The User may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

§ 6. Final Provisions

  1. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service will be governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
  2. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
